Beat the Winter Bike Blues with XC Skiing

The love affair is over. A month ago, I couldn’t wait to see her. Now, my bike pines away in my garage, neglected. She’s doomed to lie dormant until spring because I am, by my own admission, a fair-weather rider. The wind and rain and darkness and cold and snow sap my enthusiasm for cycling. It takes a lot of commitment – and gear – to ride outdoors in winter.

I appreciated his knowledge of the trails and his ability to direct me to intermediate lengths that were perfect for me, while laying out longer skis for the better skiers and spending more time with the beginners.”
