Who We Are

In 1984, Bob Clark left a civil engineering career to found Bicycle Adventures.  His mission was simple: Provide outstanding active vacations with superior personal service.  Twenty-six years later, under the leadership of owner Todd Starnes, the mission remains the same.

At Bicycle Adventures, we believe an active vacation is the best way to experience an area: you see it, smell it, and feel it the way no car traveler ever can.  You can rely on our expertise in the western U.S., Hawaii, western Canada, and New Zealand.  We’ll show you the best of your destination.

We believe in creature comforts like fine dining and luxurious lodging.  Even our camping trips provide you gourmet meals, with wine served at dinner.

We believe in making each person’s vacation special from the moment you first contact us.  We spend as much time on the phone as you need to answer all your questions.  We’ve traveled as guests on the tours ourselves, so we know exactly what those hills are like.  We’ll help you select the best tour for you based on your interests and ability level.  We’ll also follow up with you afterward to make sure your tour was outstanding.
