What You’ll Do

In 1989, we introduced the concept of multisport bicycle tours when we added sea kayaking to our trips in the San Juan Islands. Now, all of our bicycle tours include at least one other activity, such as hiking, sea kayaking, or rafting. We charter such activities with the best local outfitters to make sure your experience is outstanding. They’ll show you how to use the equipment and teach you about the wildlife you’ll see on your charter adventure. No previous experience is required.

Such activities are a chance to get off the bike, use some different muscles, and view the scenery from a slightly different perspective. Of course, anyone who wishes to ride instead may do so. We always have optional cycling routes available.

The included activities are listed in the sidebar next to each tour’s description and also on photos throughout the site. There is no extra charge for any of them. We hope you enjoy your multi-sport adventure!

The trip was just the right mix of biking and hiking. The scenery was incredible. I especially liked the two longer hikes. Angels Landing was kind of strenuous, but the view from the top was worth it. The Narrows hike was just as rewarding. I liked splashing through the water like a kid exploring a river canyon, waiting to see what awesome view was around the next corner.”
